Caffeine is an
alkaloid that's found in numerous plant species where it acts as a natural
pesticide that paralyzes and kills certain insects. In Humans, Caffeine is
a central nervous system and metabolic stimulant in small milligram quantities,
however, ingestion of larger amounts can be fatal.
