Tall Mortar & Pestle Sets
These tall or 'deep dish' Mortar & Pestles sets are taller, giving them increased capacity and better control grinding your material. The tall walls on the mortar prevent material from creeping over the top while you are grinding away. Thicker construction and more robust than our standard Mortar & Pestle sets. Choose from a 150ml, 275ml or the giant 750ml. Glazed outside and rough inside for efficient grinding and features a footed bottom for stability and pouring lip. The pestle is oversized for hand comfort and is unglazed on the bottom. Rims and outside of mortars are glazed with non-lead based glaze. Aside from general laboratory purposes, this is great for grinding powders, herbs or medicines.
