weight and very hard, our Aluminum Oxide Ceramic Grinding Media is ideal
for applications where contact with Lead or Steel media is undesirable
and maintaining purity/avoiding contamination from milling media is a
priority. Somewhat slower grinding action than Lead or Steel. Since all
Ceramic media has the potential to make sparks, it is useful in all
applications except for milling explosive powders such as Blackpowder
(Gunpowder) for this reason.
