This is a large, museum quality 'Ultragrade' fluorescent Uraninite sample. It is from Moab, Utah. It features a blistering radiation emission of over 65,000 CPM using a 'hot dog' probe and 360,000 CPM using a 'pancake' type probe. There is a large band of pure crystalline Uraninite running through this sample - visible on multiple sides. The face has a large area of fluorescent secondary Uranium minerals that glow a brilliant green under UV light. It is a giant sample measuring about 9" across and weighing over 11 pounds (5,147 grams). Truly one of the most beautiful samples we've ever seen. Recommended for professional collectors or museum display. Far too unique for any Uranium extraction experiments.
