MagNalium (Magnesium/Aluminum alloy 50:50) is a vital component in many interesting firework formulations. It is used in the manufacture of pyrotechnic strobe compositions (compositions that alternately brightly flash and stay dark when ignited). The alloy powder is also used in high candlepower flares. Its main advantage is that it produces the brightness of Magnesium when burning without the sensitivity to water. The powder particle size is 30-60 mesh.
