In the event of a release of radioactive materials (nuclear reactor malfunction, nuclear bomb detonation, etc.), the Nuclear Regulatory Commission recommends evacuation as your first line of defense followed by Potassium Iodide treatment when certain conditions warrant.

Nuclear accidents release a radioactive form of iodine into the environment. Your body quickly absorbs this radioactive iodine and it is taken in by your thyroid gland. There it is concentrated and begins to cause great damage. What RadBlock and other Potassium Iodide supplements do is to fill your system with normal iodine so if you inhale/ingest any radioactive iodine, your body will not absorb it.
Each bottle of RadBlock contains 2 ounces (60cc) of Potassium Iodide solution.
A bottle is a full 30-day supply for an adult.

The evaluation of the effectiveness of Potassium Iodide (following its wide use at Chernobyl) has determined that the product is more effective than originally thought. Adult dosage is 130mg/day and 65mg/day for children.
Each dropperful contains 65mg of Potassium Iodide solution.
Store at room temperature.
