This attractive sample contains an eye-catching mix of black Uraninite and yellow/brown Gummite. It's hot, emitting 35,000 CPM on a beta/gamma probe and 160,000 CPM on a pancake probe. This is a class 'M', 'High' radiation level sample - right on the boarder of a 'Super High' rating. As such, it is recommended for professional collectors only due to the high radiation level.
Aside from mineral collections, it is well suited for geology instruction & classroom use. It's too rare to be destroyed in Uranium extraction experiments and is better suited for collectors/display or as a powerful radiation source for experiments.
