Our 'Extreme' is our top of the line, largest capacity, industrial grade Ball Mill.
The Extreme Ball Mill has a 17 pound capacity, and built to take massive abuse.
All steel construction, heavy duty ball bearings, and an overload protected motor.
The 17 lb. capacity barrel holds 18 cups in volume.



Far more efficient than the smaller units due to the flat, 6 sided interior and large diameter barrel. The larger barrel diameter not only allows more room to hold material, but also allows the media room to accelerate creating a great deal more energy on impact - which translates into reduced & more efficient grinding time. This high-efficiency barrel design maximizes the milling action by forcing the grinding media to fall & impact on itself during rotation. Unlike our small barrel 3 & 6 Lb mills, the Extreme can use (optional) larger, 3/4" media, which dramatically increases grinding efficiency. Using both larger & standard size media sizes in your barrel always produces superior results as opposed to using a single size media. The machine base measures 11.5" wide, 13" long, and sits 11" tall with the media barrel. The barrel itself measures 9" diameter, has a hexagon shaped interior with a 7.5" opening, and a length of 8.5". Rock solid & simple to operate. Barrel and lid have an internal heavy duty Neoprene liner that provides a leak-proof seal. Built to last until the end of time. These units can also be used with liquid in the barrel without any worry of leakage. 115 volt , high performance, thermally protected motor rotates the barrel at 40 RPM.
There is a 3 year warranty on unit and 1 year warranty on motor.

The Extreme Ball Mill is available with a 120 volt motor (for use in the USA)
or a 220/240 volt motor for overseas use for an additional $30. (select below).

Note: Only use Lead or Antimony/Lead Media for grinding Black Powder or Black Powder based rocket propellant as they are completely non-sparking. Requires a minimum of 2 packs (200 balls) of 1/2" grinding media. You may also use the larger 3/4" media with this mill. The combination of 1/2" & 3/4" media greatly increases milling efficiency.
