3/4" Stainless Steel Media
The ultimate grinding media, Stainless Steel. Great for most applications with the exception of pyrotechnic materials such as blackpowder. Super hard grade 440C Stainless Steel balls 3/4" diameter, for use in larger Ball Mills.
Increased grinding efficiency due to greater mass and extremely long lifetime compared to Chrome Steel.
Please note that these are fabficated from Stainless Steel alloy 440C - they are not rustproof. If you need rustproof Stainless Steel grinding balls, use our 1/2" Stainless Steel balls - they are fabricated from Stainless alloy 316 which is rustproof.
3/4" balls are recommended for 12 pound mills and larger, although 4 or 5 in smaller 3 & 6 pound mills will produce more a aggressive and faster grinding.
