Stainless Steel Media

For most applications, the ultimate grinding media is Stainless Steel. Our 1/2" media is fabricated from Stainless Steel alloy 316, highly rust resistant, and commonly used in high purity, food and pharmaceutical applications. Stainless Steel is extremely hard and dense. It can be used in most applications with the exception of pyrotechnic materials such as blackpowder. It is more expensive compared to other media, but chances are it will outlast your ball mill.
