Standard Magnetic Spin Bars




Standard Magnetic Spin Bars for use with all brands of Magnetic Stirrers and Stirrer/Hotplates. They contain powerful, heat resistant Alnico V magnets encapsulated in PTFE using a two step process to eliminate cracks and porosity. The Standard shape stir bars are ideal for general use and work best in flat bottom containers.
For round bottom containers, we recommend our Oval Spin Bars. The unique shape maintains stability even at higher speeds. Each stir bar is polished to reduce the potential for contamination.
