Sodium Ferrocyanide is mainly used to produce Prussian Blue pigment, used in the manufacture of inks. This can be demonstrated by pouring solutions of Ferric Ammonium Sulfate and Sodium Ferrocyanide together, producing an intense indigo blue color. Sodium Ferrocyanide does not exhibit the deadly toxicity found in other Cyanide compounds due to the strong chemical bond between iron and the cyanide groups.
