This super hot sample is loaded pure black Uraninite - with little inert rock. The sample emits an impressive 45,000 CPM on a beta/gamma probe and 250,000 CPM on a pancake probe. It is a large, heavy sample measuring about 3.75" across and weighing in at a hefty 445 grams. This is a class 'P', 'Super High' radiation level sample. It is recommended for professional collectors only due to the high radiation level.
Aside from mineral collections, it is well suited for geology instruction/classroom use as well as Uranium extraction experiments or as a powerful radiation source for experiments.
