As users of Thermite know, it
is very difficult to get Thermite to ignite. Although it is possible to
ignite it
with a propane torch or Magnesium ribbon, it does not always work, and can
leave you frustrated.
Thermite can even be heated until it's red hot and still not ignite.
Thermite Ignition Mixture produces the high temperature necessary to start
the Thermite reaction. Thermite Ignition Mixture can
itself be lit with a conventional fuse or electric igniter. Just a pinch (about 1/8 teaspoon) is all that's needed to ignite any size pile of Thermite.
Convenient 30cc poly bottle contains approximately 1 ounce of Thermite Ignition Mixture.
