The Death Ray Power Supply is a fully adjustable, high voltage power supply specifically designed to operate high power infrared laser (Death Ray) tubes. Power output of the unit can be controlled via a fixed or adjustable resistor (potentiometer) or by PWM control (supplying the unit with a TTL control voltage). This leaves many options open for the user to control tube power from a simple 'volume control' type knob to a more complex TTL circuit that feeds the unit TTL level control voltages. Response time from the moment a control signal is sent to the unit, to the moment the power supply responds with the correct output voltage is approximately 1 ms. A protection circuit is built in to the unit that cuts off power if the cooling pump becomes disconnected - this saves your expensive Death Ray Tube from being toasted if your cooling pump fails.
