Potassium Nitrate (also known
as 'Saltpeter' to old-timers) is a common oxidizer best known for
its use in fireworks, rocket propellants and as a main component of Blackpowder (Gunpowder).
It's also often used as a fertilizer, food preservative and in toothpaste
formulations for sensitive teeth.
Please Note: Because oxidizers can be used to make
explosives, new regulations only allow us to sell a total of 16 ounces to
a customer per year.
