You can order on-line, by phone, or send an order & payment in the mail:
1. If you live in the continental U.S.A, use our shopping cart and pay via credit card for fastest service for all on-line purchases.
Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and outside the USA will need to email us for shipping rates as our on-line system will not compute shipping charges correctly.
Please note that for new customers we can only ship to your credit card billing address. You may also choose to send a check or money order to pay for your order. If you wish to pay via PayPal, your order is not complete until we email you an invoice and you pay it with your PayPal account. We send out PayPal invoices 1 business day after you place your order.
2. If you live outside the USA, we can only accept payment from outside the USA via the on-line payment service, PayPal, due to the large amount of international credit card fraud. To place a large value international order (over $1,000), payment must be made via bank (wire) transfer. To place a large value international order, simply email us the list of item(s) you would like, the quantity, and your shipping address. We will email you back a price quote with shipping options and payment instructions.
3. We process Credit Cards using Authorize.net. They are the safest and most reliable Credit Card processor available. United Nuclear is a secure website - for your safety, we do not store any Credit Card information on our computers.

Please note that we must wait a full 10 business days for personal and business checks to clear before we process your order. For fastest service, please send a money order/cashier's check, or use our on-line payment service outlined below.

If order totals $0.01-$19.00: add $5.95
$300.01 & up: $35.50
4. You can enclose either a
Check, Money Order or Cashier's Check. You can send Cash, but it's at your own risk - and if you do send Cash, do not send coins - round down to the nearest dollar.
5. If you're ordering hazardous items, don't forget to sign the disclaimer on the bottom of the order form!
6. Please give us a way to contact you (like a telephone number) in case we can't reach you via email.

Orders are filled and shipped on a first-come, first served basis.
Military & Government orders take unconditional priority.
If we run out of an item while filling your order, we will typically delay shipping until our re-supply arrives.
Orders are generally processed in 1 to 3 days (this does not include shipping time to destination, which can be an additional 2 to 10 days). If we are very busy (Christmas, etc.) orders can take over 2 weeks. Keep this in mind if you are on a tight time schedule.
We do not sell anything illegal. Everything we offer for sale is legal to purchase & own in the United States.
We do not sell explosives (including Black Powder and Flash Powder), nor do we furnish knowledge to make explosives.
Because our products can be potentially hazardous in the wrong hands, we will occasionally terminate & refund orders if we feel you are juvenile posing as an adult, inexperienced with the materials ordered, or using our products to make any sort of device that may cause harm or injury.
All packages containing hazardous chemicals will require an adult signature on delivery.
PLEASE include a phone number in case we need to get a hold of you. We've had many times where we couldn't read a shipping address, or couldn't figure out what was being ordered, etc., etc... and we were unable to contact the customer via email. If you leave us with no way to contact you and there is a problem with your order, your package will remain here indefinitely until you contact us.
We won't give out your email address, phone number, or any other information to anyone... and we'll only call you if there is a problem with your order.
Order Inquiry / Order Changes
If more than 14 business days has gone by since we received your payment, and you haven't received your order, we'll certainly check on it for you. However, if you placed your order during our Christmas rush season, order processing can take well over 2 weeks.
To check on an order or if you'd like to make changes to it (add or remove items, cancel, etc), you must contact with the name and address the order was placed under, email address, phone number, and the date the order was placed (very important), and last of all, the order number.
Shipping & Liability
All packages are shipped via UPS or Priority Mail at our discretion - however we generally follow these guidelines:
Packages under 2 pounds typically ship via 1st class or Priority Mail.
Heavy or high value packages ship via UPS.
Some chemicals, flammable items or hazardous materials cannot ship via USPS or air and are shipped ground via UPS.
All packages containing hazardous
will require an adult signature on delivery.
If you provided us with a valid email address, you will automatically be sent tracking information for your package. This will be sent to you directly from the carrier used (UPS or USPS).
Under no circumstances will United Nuclear Scientific be liable for any damages or losses incurred during shipping.
Our liability ends the moment the package is picked up by the carrier (either UPS or USPS).
Please check your package contents when it arrives!
If you discover an item missing in your package, you must notify us within 3 business days of delivery.
Claims for missing items after 3 business days will not be honored. See the 'Defective / Missing Items'
Please pay close attention to what you are buying.
If you change you mind about an item you've purchased , we will gladly exchange it for another item of equal value, minus your shipping charges.
If you are planning to return an item, please contact us via phone or email for an RMA (Return Authorization Number).
All returns must be accompanied by a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
Chemicals can never be returned or exchanged under any circumstances - make sure you are purchasing the proper chemicals for your application. If you have any doubts, please contact us.
We do not offer cash refunds -
items returned may only be exchanged for other products, or store credit.
Any exchanges must be made within 7 days of receipt and require prior authorization via email or phone.
Defective / Missing
We all hate buying something new
and receiving it broken or defective.
To prevent this, all mechanical & electrical items are thoroughly tested
before shipping, and we package items as securely as possible. If in the event a defective item did slip by our quality
control, we will repair or replace it for free, and ship it to you at our
expense. Please immediately test your new items upon arrival.
Magnets are always inspected before they leave here. If you let your magnets
fly together and they broke or shattered, you will have to purchase a new set if you'd like replacements.
We do not replace broken magnets.
If you've found a defective item within 3 business days from the date of delivery, it will immediately be replaced or repaired, and shipped at our expense back to you via standard USPS Priority Mail or ground UPS (depending on package weight).
Although very rare, if you did receive a defective item, please call or email us for an RMA number.
You will then have to ship the defective item back to us via standard USPS Priority Mail or ground UPS.
We will reimburse your shipping fees when we send you your replacement or repaired item back to you.
If you discover a missing item, you must report it to us within 3 business days of delivery.
All orders are recorded on video via overhead cameras while they are being packed.
This allows us to monitor how orders are being packaged by our workers, maintains quality control, and conveniently allows us to go back and see if the person filling the order left an item out.
These video recordings are only kept on file for a short time and then recorded over with new orders... so please check and see that your order is complete. You have 3 days from the date your package is delivered to file a missing or damaged item claim. After these times, claims will cannot be honored. No exceptions.
